944S Brakes on CB Disk dropped LP spindles

This kit adapts 87-89 944S hubs and disks to a CB dropped disk LP spindle. The 944 hubs are machined for T1 bearings. Due to the location of the steering arm of the spindle, the caliper (steel NA caliper) is positioned above the steering arm. The spindle has to be modified to accept the caliper adaptor. The original ears for stock T1 caliper is unmodifed, hence the entire 944 brake system can be removed and T1 stock disks/calipers may be installed. Grease seal adaptors allow the use of stock beetle grease seals (PN: 113 405 641B).

This kit is currently engineered to adapt to the CB dropped disk LP spindle.

The kit included machining of YOUR of your hubs to take beetle bearings, fabrication of two caliper brackets, maching of your spindles to accept the caliper bracket, installed TIMKEN bearing races and all required fasteners.
